Farewell Party

Today we have an interview to publish it in the radio. They asked the education system about Philippines and others related to my country. I was sick that day but I’m trying my best to do all the task that we need to finished. After interview, the three coordinator invited us to attend the meeting. I thought it was an ordinary meeting but I was wrong because it turns out to be extraordinary. We started by eating our dinner with our buddies and I didn’t expect that all our buddies are also invited that night. I was sad because there are 9 buddies that who did not attend because of some acceptable reason. After eating, we sing at the karaoke and we ended up crying. I thought it was an ordinary meeting but it ended up as our farewell party. To all my Indonesian friends, not just a friend but a family, there’s no word can express how thankful and grateful I am. I’m so thankful because God gave me a friend who makes me smile every time I’m sad, who cared for me when I’m sick, and who always there every time we need help. The word
friend is not enough because you made me feel like a family. You are my first family in Indonesia and I will never forget all the memories that we have done. You gave me joy and excitement in my everyday life staying in Indonesia. Even though it’s just short period of time, it feels like a life time. Everytime we go out, everytime we talk each other, everytime we laugh, everytime we played, all of this is still popping
in my mind and thinking if when we will see each other again. It’s so precious all the memories we did
together. Thank you for everything. There’s a lot of happiness and a lot of experiences I felt in Indonesia. I never hesitate to joined the exchange student program. This program really help me for the future.I’m really proud to myself that I joined this program. I’ve learned so many things about the Indonesian culture. Doing the student exchange student has been the best decision and the most challenging I have in my entire life. I believe that doing what we love and what inspires us is more than just what we earn. Let’s us not stop dreaming because the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams and this is what inspires me to bring out the best in me.

This morning we are in the cooperative for internship and this afternoon we are in the Asset Management student class. The lecturer discussed about how to pronounce the words he gave and he called someone to recite in class if what is the definitions of the words he gave. The definition of the word given is still connected to the student’s study program. Like an Asset Management students, the definitions of the word that provided by the lecturer are still connected on their study program. After discussion, everyone divided into 5 groups. We played with synonyms and antonyms using cards. Then after playing cards, the lecturer gave us a test paper for exchange students only to see how good we are or how weak we are in English.

With the Archery Members in Polban😍😍

Today we played an archery with the archery members of Polban. This is are second time to play archery. This is my favorite activity we have made. We played with the players and when the loser was penalized. Two against three. Just two in Indonesia and three in the Philippines because we are not good at playing archery. First, Indonesia loses and their punishment will be pushed up ten times. Secondly, we lost and our punishment will be pushed up three times. Thirdly, they were beaten again so they dance and sing Potong Bebek Angsa. I so much enjoyed this game. I’m so happy because we’ve played again with them. They also gave us a keychain souvenir and they said that we attached it to our bag so we could not forget them. They are very kind. They also bought chocolate bengbeng and water for our snacks. I’m so grateful because I met people like them who are friendly and they make us happy every time we meet. Thank you everyone. I will miss you.

Today we’ve joined the class of Sir Dimas’s class. I was amazed because all their students had a laptop when we arrived. That laptop is the school owners. They used the laptop every class. I was amazed too because their basement is so big, where all the motors of the students were parked there. Sir Dimas discussed about the bank if how to have a bank account. They also asked about our bank account if we’re using online if we will check our balance in our account and how to register as a member in our bank and others.
