Today, they taught us an archery and I was very happy because this is my first time to played archery. I really enjoy playing archery. Archery is my favorite activity. Hopefully again, we will play archery. Then we went to a small restaurant with buddies Costner and Farizza. I ordered Nasi Goreng or the fried rice because Nasi Goreng is one of the most popular dish or food in Indonesia. Then we went back to Polban to meet the KABAYAN TEAM because they will teach us a traditional dance that they danced and they also taught us to play bamboo instruments and other kinds of instruments. Then, before we go home, since last day of our buddies today, we talked about how we would compete for cooking. Indonesian versus Philippines. Our two Indonesian buddies will cook Filipino Food and we Filipinos will cook Indonesian food. Cooked by our buddies is Sisig which is one of my favorite dishes in the Philippines. My partner and I used to cook one of the famous dishes they called the Ayam Kecap Pedas or spicy chicken. We have three judges for our tasting. One from the Philippines and two from Indonesia. And finally, the Philippines won. After dinner we played spinning bottles (truth or dare) to make everyone more fun.

To Sir David, thank you for the kindness and for helping us in times of difficulty in our task. Thank you to Sir Ilham because we have learned a lot in you in your discussion. Thank you to Sir Bram for helping us in our task and to entertain us or guessing about our personality using his power. Thank you to Ma’am Vani because she entertain us also and the truth I was really happy to see her everyday because she was so pretty. Thank you everyone. Our first day in Agrodana was very nervous. But, Im so happy because they welcome us not just an intern but also as family. I’m very happy because they welcome us with smile in their lips and they entertain us even though they have difficulty communicating with us using English language. First day at Agrodana, we were given the task immediately. First, we had a hard time because we are majoring in Pure Mathematics and our task is about Statistics. Because of working together or helping each other, we have done what the manager has to do with us about forecasting.

Today is a Chinese New Year. We went to Gedung Sate but it was closed because its holiday today. Our buddies also do not know that the Gedung Sate is closed today. So, what we did was to take picture of us and I made a pose like a model for fun. Then, we went to Ciwalk to watch dragon dance. It’s hard to find a good place because it’s so crowded and hot. Then after watching, we went home.

Today we met our new buddies for three days. We met Gian and Reezul. They are very kind and Im so happy to be with them. They tour us in Batik Komar. In Batik Komar, we found out how they can make plane yarns and seal them with wax with different designs. They also showed us how to do the seal and I realized that it was very difficult to do. They also show us the various types of clothing products of Indonesian people. After that, we went to Saung Udjo and we spent much money for the souvenirs for our family in the Philippines. I bought a laptop bag for me, two shoulder bags and two hats for my aunt and my mom. I also saw how they played with the bamboo-based instinct and I was amazed because it was a great instrument to listen to the music they played. Then we went to Gedung Sate but it was closed because it was Monday. Every monday, the Sate building is closed. Then, after that we went to the mall to find a refrigerator magnet but we did not find something beautiful. Then, eventually we went to the house of our buddy Reezul and we ate dinner in her dormitory.

Today I made a presentation to present it in the class of Sir Dimas. then I washed my clothes. Then, our buddies visit and cooked an indonesian food which is the bala bala (fried carrot and cabbage with flour) and a pisang kiju (banana cheese). We also cooked them one of the most popular filipino food which is the chicken adobo. I’m so full now because the foods is so delicious.

Today we went to the supermarket to buy something to eat because we had run out of food. We buy fruits, chicken, squid, seasonings and others.

Today they discussed about our internship at Cooperative and after that we went to ITB and this is the second popular University in Indonesia. We went to the ITB library and I searched for Discrete Mathematics books for my module. Then we went to the Forest walk track and walked around to see the beautiful scenery. It was so nice. We did not even go through all because we were tired. So, then we go home early so we can rest.

Our fourth days at the university. They discussed about their education system of Politeknik Negeri Bandung. Then, we went to the house of one of our buddies. They welcome us with a whole heart and sweet smiling. They fed the delicious food that I first tasted . I overwhelmed their cooking especially the ayam susmanis.😊

Today we play indoor and outdoor sports and games. We played badminton with our coordinator Ms. Anissa, chinese garter, playing cards and football with the Polban Football team. They taught us how to play football and it’s very fun because this is the first time I played football. And I find it very difficult to play this football. Just play. Have fun and enjoy the game.😁
